YARD RESTAURANT MANAGER
Pay - £30 to £33k plus tips
Full time
We have an opportunity for a dynamic & experienced hospitality manager to lead the team in our established restaurant, The Yard. Over the past 20 years our restaurant has become iconic for warm, friendly hospitality and great local food & drink. We're looking for someone to build on this reputation, drive standards & inspire our team.
This role is 42 hours per week & daytime only.
Up to £33k plus quarterly bonus & TRONC (£1200-£1500pa).
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring a smooth & efficient workflow.
- Maintain high standards of customer service & drive for continuous improvement.
- Monitor & control operational costs, including labour, food, beverage & sundries.
- Collaborate with Hospitality Manager & Head Chef to implement strategies to optimise performance.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations & company policy.
- Create & manage rotas to agreed staffing levels.
- Train & develop team members, creating a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or leadership.
- Strong leadership & communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment & perform under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Financially astute & sharp.
- Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, empathy & self awareness.
- Passion for local, sustainable food & drink
- Positive & proactive mindset
