Supplier Harvest Supper Celebration 2022

Last week we hosted our Annual Supplier Harvest Supper Celebration in The Farm Table. An annual event that became a tradition and something that we all looked forward to each year. This was the first time we have been able to host the supper since 2019 due to the Covid pandemic, which made it extra special. Thank you to all who joined us to reignite the tradition and to host it in The Farm Table for the first time.

A 'bring & share' feast where each supplier brought their own produce for everyone to share, as we celebrate the industry and the friendships within them. And what a feast we had!

We had the pleasure of enjoying the company and produce from Mitch Tonks, River Cottage, Chunks, Carpeolus Fine Foods, Ebb Tides, Mr Filberts, Good Game, Sharpham Cheese, Littlepod, Lynher Daires, Mrs Gills, Exeter Gin, Otter Vale, Roastworks, Exploding Bakery, Tracklements, Tregothnan, South Devon Chilli Farm, Shute Fruit, Ticklemore Cheese, Waterhouse Fayre, Goosemore, Kenniford Farm, Lockwood Farms, Otter Valley Poultry, Exeter Gin, Sandford Orchards, Find & Foster, Devon Distillery, Otter Brewery, Christopher Piper Wines, Salcombe Gin, Natural Wines Growth Company & Bar Buoy Cocktails.

Joining us from Japan and coinciding with his trip to visit us and his Nova Roaster (the first in Europe), Toru joined our feast. Generally used for delicately roasting small-batch coffee beans, we were delighted to show him what we are doing with it!! Showing him how we carefully roast our single origin cacao beans to craft our chocolate, was an exciting and historical moment for the both of us.

A special evening championing the incredible produce that is right on our doorstep and the passion of the family farmers, growers & makers behind the them. An evening where old friends come together and new friendships form, where stories are shared and plenty of food and drink it consumed. It really is as simple as great food and great company.

Thank you to all our amazing suppliers who do so much for our community, local economy & landscape. Together, we're building a food system that's more local, diverse, sustainable & delicious!
