Have a go at Sally's signature Beercan chicken this summer on your Big Green Egg! Perfect for Alfresco Feasting.

Cook time: 1 hour 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • A whole chicken from our Master Butchers
  • Your choice of a can of beer from our Cellar (we recommend Utopia!)
  • Dry spice mix of your choice

Method

  1. Heat your Big Green Egg to 180°C
  2. Grab a can of your favourite beer, then dispose (drink!) half.
  3. Take your whole chicken, and place it directly on top of the half-full can of beer.
  4. Gently rub your dry spice mix on to the chicken, thoroughly coating
  5. Position chicken on to Convector, then cook for 1 hour 20 minutes, or until cooked through
  6. Remove from the heat, then remove the chicken from the beercan.
  7. Place on a wooden board, shred and serve!
